About the Role

Provides leadership and direction for the Distribution Center Inventory Group in India. Leads, develops and implements inventory business initiatives that affect a broad area of departments across the organization as they relate to DC inventory activity. Identifies and implements on-going opportunities for improvement and changes across the department. Responsible for the quality, development, motivation and retention of department staff of two.

The candidate is expected to currently reside in Hyderabad, India with willingness to work variable hours, accommodate deadlines, and travel occasionally as needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the business internally & externally: set expectations, review performance weekly, surface risks early, and align actions with local teams and global stakeholders.

  • Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, developing, motivating and retaining staff

  • Lead teams to identify and act upon opportunities for continuous improvement

  • Responsible for reviewing Warehouse adjustments and audit resync results

  • Responsible for the review of SOX controls

  • Act as a subject matter expert for changing and implementing new processes or technology

  • Partner with IT/DC Support US to ensure issues are escalated and resolved timely

  • The candidate is expected to currently reside in Hyderabad, India.

  • Ability to adapt when necessary to work extended hours (including weekends) based on business needs 

  • Who You Are

  • Advanced understanding of finance, including business strategy, financial systems, and operational and SOX controls

  • Subject matter expertise in business process and technology, with the ability to address highly complex technical issues.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence people and processes.

  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills; able to influence across cultures/time zones and keep teams focused on outcomes.

  • This position may require occasional work outside of standard business hours to effectively support teams across multiple time zones.

  • Strong analytical toolkit (Excel; PowerPoint, PowerQuery, Power BI a plus) and comfort translating data into clear actions and executive narratives.

  • MBA preferred

  • 7-8 years of relevant experience and 4-5 years of supervisory experience.

  • Chartered Accountant preferred
