Roles & Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining project schedules using Gantt charts, ensuring adherence to timelines.
  • Support the project manager in tracking project progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions.

Site Coordination & Inspections

  • Conduct initial site inspections and assist in preparing site kick-off (dilapidation) reports before execution.
  • Monitor site activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Review and analyze daily reports from site supervisors, flagging any discrepancies or concerns.

Vendor & Material Coordination

  • Assist in vendor validation before site initiation and conduct periodic performance reviews of vendors.
  • Coordinate material schedules, ensuring timely procurement and delivery in sync with project needs.

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Conduct furniture quality checks at carcass and finish stages, ensuring adherence to design and execution standards.
  • Prepare QC reports for vendors, highlighting areas of improvement and ensuring necessary corrections.

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with the design team to ensure seamless execution as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Facilitate communication between vendors, site teams, and project managers to maintain alignment on project objectives.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Expertise – Understanding of project scheduling, site execution, and quality control in interior fit-outs.
  • Attention to Detail – Ability to review reports, inspect sites, and maintain high execution standards.
  • Stakeholder Coordination – Strong communication and coordination skills with vendors, site teams, and designers.
  • Problem-Solving Approach – Ability to foresee project challenges and assist in implementing solutions proactively.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related fields.

Experience: 2-5 years in interior project management, preferably in high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality spaces.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of project scheduling tools (MS Project/Primavera), site execution methodologies, and quality control standards.
