Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate Jr. Frontend Developer to join our Technology team and help build responsive, high-performance user interfaces for our web platform. You’ll collaborate closely with product designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences that delight customers and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, reusable, and efficient frontend code for web applications.
- Build responsive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies (e.g., React.js / Next.js).
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement design systems and pixel-perfect UI components.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and manage data flow between frontend and backend.
- Optimize web performance and ensure high-quality visual and functional user experiences across devices.
- Troubleshoot, debug and improve existing frontend applications.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Ensure web accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and high standards of security in frontend code.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in frontend development with significant hands-on expertise in React.js (or equivalent modern frontend frameworks Next.js) with TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS and frontend build tools
- Familiarity with state management tools (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.).
- Experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode) to enhance productivity and code quality.
- Understanding of responsive design principles, browser rendering behavior and performance optimization.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to translate UI/UX designs into interactive and performant frontend interfaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams.
Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Material UI).
- Understanding of Webpack, Vite or other modern frontend build tools.
- Prior experience working on SaaS products or e-commerce platforms.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
