We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to head our admissions and outreach function. This is a pivotal role responsible for achieving student recruitment goals, shaping admissions strategy, and ensuring a seamless and inclusive admissions experience for prospective students across India and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive admissions strategy aligned with the university’s growth, quality, and diversity goals.
- Achieve annual enrollment targets and monitor performance against institutional objectives.
- Oversee the full admissions lifecycle, including engaging with prospective students and families, evaluating, selecting and enrolling candidates.
- Personally review and assess applications, academic credentials, and supporting documentation to ensure alignment with institutional standards, quality benchmarks, and admissions criteria.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the admissions and outreach team to ensure high service standards and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to design and execute campaigns that attract strong candidates.
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, education consultants, and agents across India.
- Establish and manage systems for lead generation, tracking, nurturing, and reporting; oversee data collection and tele-counselling activities.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to support innovative student acquisition strategies.
- Plan and deliver promotional activities such as education fairs, seminars, workshops, and school outreach programmes to strengthen brand presence.
- Ensure consistent brand representation across digital, print, and on-ground campaigns.
- Present regular reports on campaign performance, admissions pipeline, and outreach outcomes to senior management.
- Use admissions data and insights to improve conversion rates and guide strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement the admissions policies and procedures in line with University’s goals and principles.
- Travel extensively and represent the university at national and international events and education forums.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business management, education, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in student admissions and recruitment in premium higher education institutions preferably foreign University.
- Extensive experience in student admissions and recruitment across India, with deep regional insights.
