About Senses Lifestyle

Senses Lifestyle is a leading manufacturer-exporter of handcrafted wooden tabletop, houseware, serveware, and pet products, supplying to major global retailers across the US, Europe, and Middle East. We manage fast-paced developments, sampling, and bulk shipments with a strong design and quality focus.

Key Responsibilities1. Buyer Communication & Development Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact between buyers and internal teams.
  • Understand buyer briefs, mood boards, packaging needs, and compliance requirements.
  • Share timely updates, approvals, and information with buyers professionally.

2. Sampling & Product Development

  • Create spec sheets, BOMs, costing sheets, and internal development briefs.
  • Coordinate with design, sampling, wood, metal, enamel, finishing & QC teams.
  • Ensure all samples meet buyer expectations in quality, size, finish, and branding.
  • Manage sample timelines, reworks, and dispatches.

3. Costing & Pricing

  • Prepare accurate costings based on material, labour, finish, hardware, packaging, and logistics.
  • Work with finance and production to finalise price structures.

4. Order Management

  • Prepare PI/PO confirmations and ensure accuracy of order details.
  • Coordinate with planning, production & QA teams for timely execution.
  • Track order progress, approvals, and milestones.

5. Packaging & Labelling

  • Work on packaging artworks, labels, barcode placements, inserts, and carton specs.
  • Ensure compliance with buyer guidelines (MOQ, carton tests, FSC, Lacey Act info, etc.).

6. Documentation & Follow-Ups

  • Maintain trackers for sampling, orders, dispatches, costing, and development.
  • Prepare shipment details with the export documentation team when required.
  • Manage approvals for shade cards, finishing samples, and pre-production samples.

7. Quality Coordination

  • Work closely with QC teams to ensure product quality aligns with buyer standards.
  • Handle on-ground checks for critical items and assist in solving issues.

Skills Required

  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Good hand on Excel, Word, email communication, and documentation.
  • Understanding of wooden & handicraft manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of global retail compliance (drop tests, finish approvals, packaging rules).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple buyers/orders at once.
