Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Layout Engineer (PCB Design) with 10+ years of hands on expertise in complex multi layer and HDI PCB designs. The ideal candidate will excel in high speed routing, signal/power integrity considerations, and DFM/DFT compliant layouts while collaborating closely with cross functional engineering teams to deliver robust, production ready boards.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform detailed routing of complex multi layer and HDI PCBs including high speed digital/analog circuits.
  • Apply SI/PI driven constraints such as impedance control, differential pair routing, length matching, and crosstalk mitigation.
  • Ensure layouts meet DFM/DFA/DFT guidelines and fabrication/manufacturing requirements.
  • Work with SI/PI, hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to address electrical, thermal, and mechanical constraints.
  • Conduct layout reviews, iterate based on feedback, and optimize for yield, reliability, and performance.
  • Manage the full PCB design cycle-from schematic/netlist capture to final Gerber/ODB outputs and fabrication documentation.
  • Use DFM/DFT/CAM tools to validate manufacturability and ensure compliance with fabrication constraints.
  • Support continuous improvements to PCB design methodologies, rules, and best practices.

Desired Skills

  • Expert in HDI PCB design, multi layer routing, and microvia/blind buried via technologies.
  • Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and controlled impedance design.
  • Deep knowledge of DFM/DFA/DFT principles and IPC standards.
  • Proficiency with industry standard PCB CAD tools, constraint management, and SI/PI simulation environments.
  • Ability to collaborate across hardware, SI/PI, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering groups.
