Role Overview:
The Senior Manager – Recruitment & Outreach will lead and execute school and college engagement strategies for a single university from the Emeritus university partners, with the objective of achieving and exceeding enrolment targets across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The role requires a strong blend of strategic planning, field execution, relationship management, and data-driven decision-making.
This individual will build and manage a high-impact outreach ecosystem involving schools, junior colleges, feeder colleges, counsellors, and other key influencers, while aligning closely with central admissions, marketing, and academic teams across the university group.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Outreach Strategy & Planning
· Design and implement an annual school and college outreach strategy aligned with enrolment targets for each university and program within the group.
· Segment schools and colleges (Tier 1 / 2 / 3) based on historical yield, student quality, and strategic importance.
· Develop region-wise and program-wise outreach plans, including calendars for school visits, fairs, presentations, and events.
· Identify new feeder institutions and untapped geographies to expand the recruitment pipeline.
2. School & College Engagement
· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with:
o School principals, heads, and counsellors
o College leadership and placement/admissions teams
o Career counsellors and education influencers
· Lead in-person and virtual outreach activities including:
o School/college presentations and workshops
o Career talks, subject-specific sessions, and faculty lectures
o Parent information sessions and open houses
· Act as a senior representative of the university group during key outreach engagements.
3. Enrolment Target Ownership
· Own enrolment pipelines generated through school and college outreach channels.
· Track leads, applications, offers, conversions, and enrolments from outreach activities.
· Work closely with admissions teams to ensure timely follow-ups, counselling, and offer management.
· Continuously optimise outreach efforts to improve conversion rates and ROI.
4. Team Leadership & Management
· Build, train, and manage a team of junior Outreach Managers across regions.
· Set clear KPIs and performance metrics for the designated university outreach team (leads, applications, conversions, school coverage).
· Conduct regular reviews, field visits, and coaching to ensure execution excellence.
· Ensure consistency of messaging and brand representation across all outreach activities.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with:
o Marketing teams on campaigns, collateral & messaging for schools/ colleges
o Admissions teams on lead management, counselling, and conversion strategies
o Academic teams/faculty for outreach sessions and credibility-building workshops
· Provide on-ground market insights to inform program positioning and recruitment strategies.
6. Data, Reporting & Insights
· Maintain accurate outreach and enrolment data using CRM and reporting tools.
· Prepare regular reports on:
o Outreach coverage and activity effectiveness
o Lead-to-enrolment conversion metrics
o Region-wise and institution-wise performance
· Use data and insights to refine outreach strategies and recommend improvements.
7. Brand Representation & Compliance
· Ensure all outreach activities are aligned with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
· Uphold ethical recruitment practices and ensure transparency in student communications.
· Represent the university group professionally at all external engagements.

Qualifications & Experience
· Master’s degree preferred (MBA, Education Management, Marketing, or related field)
· 8–12+ years of experience in student recruitment, outreach, admissions, or education sales
· Prior experience working with:
o Universities, education groups, or international education providers
o School outreach, college partnerships, or counsellor networks
· Experience managing regional or multi-institution recruitment portfolios is a strong advantage
