Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Architect to lead architecture strategy and execution across large-scale, multi-stream digital programs with ML and Data at the core.This role requires a holistic enterprise view spanning Data Architecture, GenAI/DS Architecture, and Application Development Architecture , especially in complex enterprise ecosystems where most application programs now include a GenAI component.
The architect will drive strategic direction, ARB governance alignment, enterprise integration standards, Engineering effort and thought leadership while ensuring scalable, secure, and future-ready platform architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise & Strategic Architecture
- Define end-to-end enterprise architecture across Experience , Data, GenAI/DS, and Application layers .
- Own architecture blueprints for multi-stream programs (Digital + Data Science + AI Engineering).
- Present and defend architecture decisions in Architecture Review Board (ARB) forums.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, security policies, and integration guidelines.
- Provide strategic technology direction aligned to business transformation goals.
AI & Data Architecture
- Architect enterprise-grade GenAI/ML platforms (RAG, semantic search, copilots, AI agents).
- Design LLM integration strategies, vector search patterns, model orchestration, and LLMOps.
- Establish data pipelines for structured and unstructured data ingestion.
- Define data governance, PII handling, compliance, and model observability frameworks.
- Architect evaluation pipelines for LLM accuracy, toxicity, hallucination, and drift detection.
Application & Platform Architecture
- Design scalable microservices and API-first architectures.
- Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).
- Define integration patterns across enterprise systems.
- Ensure high availability, resiliency, and performance optimization.
- Establish multi-cloud and hybrid deployment strategies (Azure + AWS).
Engineering & Delivery Governance
- Lead CI/CD architecture (ArgoCD, automated quality gates, security scans).
- Define branching strategies and DevSecOps practices.
- Establish monitoring and observability (ELK, Dynatrace, Grafana).
- Partner with DevOps/SRE teams for IaC-driven infrastructure provisioning.
- Drive architecture reviews, design sign-offs, and cross-stream technical alignment.
Thought Leadership & Capability Building
- Act as a platform thought leader across enterprise stakeholders.
- Mentor architects and senior engineers.
- Influence roadmap decisions with innovation-first thinking.
- Drive reusable platform constructs and accelerators.
Required Experience & Skills
- 17+ years in enterprise architecture and large-scale application platforms.
- Experience architecting enterprise GenAI solutions (RAG, AI agents, semantic search, LLM integration).
- Strong background in Data Architecture + Application Architecture convergence .
- Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture (Azure, AWS).
- Hands-on understanding of microservices, APIs, Kubernetes, and event streaming (Kafka).
- Experience presenting in ARB / Enterprise Governance forums .
- Strong stakeholder communication and executive articulation skills.
- Proven ability to operate in strategic, cross-functional environments.
- Experience working on varierty of design patterns with knowledge on System design, Evolutionary architecture to achieve highly performant, scalable systems.
- Tech Stack: Python, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Kafka, API Development, Kubernetes, Vector DB, Azure, AWS, CI/CD (ArgoCD), Monitoring (ELK, Dynatrace, Grafana), IaC (Terraform/Bicep), Generative AI, NLP, LLMs, RAG, LangGraph,Integration experience/understanding with Databricks, snowflake & similar Data source/stack.
