AWS Cloud Architect (Primary) / Azure Cloud Architect (Secondary)

Location: Noida (travel as per business requirement)

Role Summary

• Design secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud architectures on AWS (primary), aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Develop hybrid and multi-cloud architectures integrating AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and disaster recovery initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver AWS-first cloud solutions, with Azure used as a secondary platform where required.
• Define and execute cloud migration strategies (rehost, re-platform, re-architect).
• Design and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity solutions aligned to RTO/RPO, including backup & restore, pilot light, warm standby, and active-active patterns.
• Implement security best practices including IAM, encryption, logging, monitoring, and Zero Trust architecture.
• Establish cloud governance, tagging, access control, and cost optimization (FinOps) frameworks.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform (preferred), AWS CloudFormation, and Azure ARM/Bicep.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor engineering teams and act as a trusted cloud advisor to technical and business stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 12+ years of overall IT / infrastructure experience
• 8+ years of strong hands-on experience in AWS (primary)
• Working experience in Azure (secondary) and DevOps practices

Required Skills

• AWS Core Services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, EKS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Security Hub
• Azure Services (working knowledge): VMs, VNets, Entra ID, AKS, Storage, Azure Monitor
• DevOps & Containers: CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes (EKS primary, AKS secondary)
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (preferred), AWS CloudFormation, Azure ARM/Bicep
• Networking: VPC/VNet, ALB/NLB, security groups, NACLs, VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute
• Security & Compliance: IAM, KMS, encryption, monitoring, ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI DSS, GDPR
• Migration & Hybrid Cloud: Datacenter-to-cloud migrations, application modernization, hybrid connectivity

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to present cloud strategies and architectures at executive level
• Experience mentoring teams and driving technical best practices
