Seeking Co-Founder (Tech / B2B E-commerce Growth) for Importerr – Cross-Border E-commerce Platform

I am building Importerr, a cross-border e-commerce platform focused on enabling Indian sellers to directly source products from China with low minimum order quantities and integrated logistics.

The platform addresses a significant gap in the Indian market — while demand for product sourcing is massive, access to reliable suppliers, low MOQs, and streamlined import processes remains limited for most sellers.

About Importerr

  • Access to a large catalog of China-based suppliers
  • MOQ starting from as low as 1 unit
  • Sellers can:
  • Purchase directly
  • Integrate with Shopify / marketplaces
  • Download product listings and start selling

We manage sourcing, quality control, international logistics, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery in India.

Current Stage

  • Platform is live: www.importerr.com
  • Early traction achieved (orders, supplier network, initial users)
  • Established sourcing and operations infrastructure in China and India
  • Now entering the scale-up phase, with key focus areas in technology and B2B growth

Role: Co-Founder

I am looking to onboard a committed co-founder who will take ownership in one of the following areas:

1. Tech Co-Founder (Primary Requirement)

Experience Required: Minimum 5–8 years

  • Proven experience in building or scaling e-commerce platforms / marketplaces
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Backend architecture and scalability
  • Checkout systems, order management, and integrations
  • Performance optimization (speed, uptime, reliability)
  • Ability to lead product development end-to-end
  • Prior startup or 0→1 experience will be strongly preferred

2. B2B E-commerce / Growth Co-Founder

Experience Required: Minimum 5–8 years

  • Experience in B2B e-commerce, seller acquisition, or marketplace growth
  • Strong track record in:
  • Onboarding and scaling sellers / resellers
  • Driving GMV and repeat usage
  • Building partnerships and distribution channels
  • Understanding of unit economics, CAC, and retention metrics
  • Experience in startups or high-growth environments preferred

What I Bring

  • 15+ years of experience in e-commerce
  • ₹100Cr+ GMV track record
  • Extensive supplier network in China (20,000+ suppliers)
  • Strong operations setup across sourcing, import, and fulfillment
  • Existing team across growth, operations, and marketing

What This Role Involves

  • Building and scaling a category-defining platform
  • Solving complex challenges across technology, logistics, and supply chain
  • Working closely with the founding team on strategy and execution
  • Operating in a high-ownership, high-responsibility environment

Compensation

  • Equity-based (significant stake based on experience and contribution)
  • Salary: Optional / negotiable depending on profile

Location

  • Preferred: Noida (Delhi NCR)
  • Open to hybrid engagement for the right candidate
