About the Role
They are looking for a Budget and Cost Control Manager who will manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure financial efficiency across outsourced fabrication and project activities. This role is key to improving profitability and controlling expenses.
Key Responsibilities
Budgeting & Planning
- Prepare project budgets and financial forecasts
- Plan cash flow and allocate resources effectively
- Work closely with project teams for cost planning
Cost Control & Monitoring
- Track project expenses vs budget
- Identify cost overruns and take corrective actions
- Perform variance analysis and report insights
Vendor & Commercial Management
- Negotiate with vendors for best pricing
- Review vendor bills and ensure timely payments
- Monitor outsourced fabrication costs
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly cost reports and dashboards
- Analyze project profitability and cost efficiency
- Share insights with management for decision-making
Risk & Compliance
- Identify financial risks and suggest solutions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audits
- Maintain proper documentation for audits
Requirements
Education
- MBA (Finance) / CA / ICWA or equivalent
Experience
- 8–12 years in cost control, budgeting, or project finance
- Experience in EPC, construction, or fabrication industry preferred
