IoT backend Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an IoT backend Developer ll Bangalore ll 6+ years of experience to manage and deliver SAP projects using Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, track project progress, and ensure timely delivery of SAP implementations aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend services for IoT applications on Azure Cloud
• Implement and manage device communication using MQTT protocols
• Build scalable APIs and microservices for real-time data ingestion and processing
• Integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms ensuring secure and reliable connectivity
• Work with data pipelines for handling high-volume telemetry data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, frontend, and DevOps
• Ensure performance optimization, security, and scalability of IoT systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IoT connectivity and backend services

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Azure Cloud (IoT Hub, Event Hub, Azure Functions, Storage)
• Hands-on experience with MQTT protocol and IoT communication
• Proficiency in backend development using Python / Node.js / .NET (any one)
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of real-time data streaming and processing
• Familiarity with database systems (SQL/NoSQL)
• Understanding of IoT architecture, device lifecycle, and security protocols

Good to Have

• Experience with Azure Digital Twins
• Knowledge of edge computing / IoT Edge
• Exposure to DevOps tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in handling large-scale IoT deployments
