Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Bid Management & Proposal Development:

  • Identify and analyze tender opportunities from government and private sector portals (e.g., GeM, CPPP, eProcurement portals).
  • Manage the entire RFP response process, including proposal writing, document compilation, and submission.
  • Ensure compliance with tender requirements, eligibility criteria, and legal documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical and sales teams to develop compelling, customer-focused proposals.

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal teams (sales, legal, finance, operations) to gather necessary inputs for bid submission.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as government agencies, procurement officials, and industry partners.
  • Facilitate bid approval processes, ensuring management sign-offs before submission.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain a repository of past proposals, templates, and key bid documents for future reference.
  • Ensure that all submitted bids meet company policies, legal regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Monitor and track bid progress, ensuring deadlines are met without last-minute escalations.

Market Research & Competitor Analysis:

  • Research market trends, government procurement policies, and competitor strategies to enhance bid success rates.
  • Identify pricing trends and position bids competitively while ensuring profitability.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 3–6 years of experience in bid management, proposal writing, or tendering, preferably for Indian RFPs.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Indian procurement regulations and RFP processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with government bidding platforms like Gem, CPPP, or procurement portals.
  • Knowledge of financial modelling and pricing strategy for competitive bidding.
