Role Overview
As an Assistant Manager – Sales, you will drive Tribe’s sales strategy at the property level. This includes generating and converting leads, managing channel partners, nurturing corporate tie-ups, and ensuring 100% occupancy across student accommodation and premium hospitality offerings.
You’ll also manage daily sales reports, lead a small team (if required), and collaborate closely with marketing and operations to ensure Tribe’s growth targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Conversion
- Execute high-volume cold calls and follow-ups with prospective clients and institutions
- Build strong pipeline via walk-ins, tele-calls, referrals, agents, and online leads
- Meet and exceed monthly occupancy and revenue targets
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Design and execute campus engagement and outreach plans for student housing
- Close sales through virtual tours, site visits, and consultative selling
- Maintain updated sales funnel, lead reports, and conversion metrics
Client & Partner Relationship Management
- Handle key B2B relationships (consultants, agents, institutions, relocation partners)
- Ensure smooth pre- and post-booking communication with clients and parents
- Maintain a professional, solution-oriented approach to all interactions
Internal Coordination
- Work with marketing for lead quality, campaigns, and offline events
- Collaborate with operations for room availability, onboarding, and guest satisfaction
- Provide regular sales insights and feedback to the leadership team
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3–4+ years of experience in sales, business development, or front-line managerial roles
- Proven experience with cold calling and lead conversions
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and CRM/reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident, self-motivated, and target-driven
- Prior experience in real estate, hospitality, or student housing (preferred)
