Our Team
You will be part of the SE&I Integration team supporting Georgia-Pacific, working within a dynamic global environment. The team focuses on designing, building, and modernizing integration capabilities that enable seamless data exchange across industrial and enterprise systems. Collaboration, continuous learning, and principle-based decision making are central to how we operate.
What You Will Do
·Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to understand business needs and define integration strategies.
·Develop custom integrations enabling secure and efficient data exchange across systems.
·Use streaming platforms such as Kinesis, NATS, and Kafka for real-time data ingestion and integration.
·Implement modern integration patterns ensuring reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
·Utilize GitHub for source control, collaboration, and code reviews.
·Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, contributing to on-call support on a rotational basis.
·Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in industrial and systems integration.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
·5+ years of IT experience with strong programming/scripting skills in Python or JavaScript.
·Hands-on experience with Middleware/Integration tools such as HighByte, Ignition, or MuleSoft.
·Demonstrated experience integrating AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, RDS, EC2) for cloud-native solutions.
·Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, and modern integration protocols along with familiarity in Agile methodologies and GitHub-based version control.
·Experience with DevOps/automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, GitOps, and modern CI/CD practices.
What Will Put You Ahead
·Hands-on programming experience with Golang or React.
·Exposure to building or enhancing solutions using GenAI-based code development.
·Experience integrating industrial protocols such as OPC-UA, MQTT, MODBUS, etc.
·Strong understanding of API Gateway, networking concepts, and security best practices for distributed systems.
·Experience deploying APIs and microservices in Kubernetes-based environments.
·Ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable integration solutions.
