The Purchase Junior Engineer (Civil Projects & CAPEX Utilities) is responsible for procurement of materials, equipment, and services related to civil construction projects and capital expenditure (CAPEX) utility installations such as water systems, electrical infrastructure, HVAC, and piping. The role ensures timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement aligned with project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Sourcing
- Handle procurement of civil construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, etc.)
- Source utility-related equipment (pumps, pipelines, valves, electrical panels, HVAC systems)
- Float RFQs (Request for Quotations) and collect vendor offers
- Analyze and compare quotations (techno-commercial evaluation)
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare purchase orders (POs) and maintain procurement records
- Verify invoices, delivery challans, and material receipts
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and safety standards
- Ensure Billings Records of vendors.
Vendor Management
- Identify and develop new vendors for civil and utility works
- Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with civil/project engineers for BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and specifications
- Ensure materials are delivered as per project timelines
- Follow up with suppliers to avoid delays in project execution
CAPEX Procurement
- Support procurement planning for CAPEX projects
- Assist in cost estimation and control
- Maintain documents
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering
- 0–3 years of experience in purchase/procurement (civil or project-based preferred)
Soft Skill : – SAP- MM, Excel , World.
