Senior Construction Scheduler – PMCM

The Senior Construction Scheduler will lead the review and management of contractor schedule submittals—including baselines, monthly updates, recovery schedules, and Time Impact Analyses (TIAs). You will also develop and maintain detailed project schedules for complex design and construction programs. This is an excellent opportunity to apply advanced scheduling expertise to high-profile rail and transit infrastructure projects that are shaping the future of transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update CPM schedules using Primavera P6, incorporating construction logistics, delivery sequencing, phasing, and resource planning in coordination with project teams.

• Facilitate and lead schedule development workshops with project stakeholders.

• Review contractor-prepared baseline, update, recovery, and mitigation schedules; perform detailed root cause analyses of variances and delays; and provide clear recommendations and corrective actions.

• Perform critical path, near-critical path, and float path analyses to identify key drivers and risk areas impacting project delivery.

• Conduct and lead schedule review meetings, providing expert guidance to clients and project teams.

• Produce clear, concise, and technically sound schedule reports and executive presentations for clients and leadership.

• Perform quality assurance reviews of schedule analyses and reports prepared by other team members.

• Maintain strong coordination and communication with clients, contractors, and consultants throughout all project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

• 6–10 years of experience in construction schedule development, schedule review, and delay/claims analysis, preferably within rail and transportation infrastructure projects.

• Strong technical writing, reporting, and presentation skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of CPM scheduling principles, including schedule development, review, oversight, and controls processes.

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (required); familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus.

• Demonstrated experience preparing and analyzing Prospective and Retrospective Time Impact Analyses (TIAs), consistent with AACE Recommended Practices.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional meetings with project teams, contractors, and client stakeholders.

• PMI and/or AACEI certifications (e.g., PMP, PSP) preferred.
