What youll do:
As a Staff Engineer in Wintel Engineering, you will contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of server and endpoint platforms across the enterprise. Youll work on complex engineering initiatives involving firmware, operating systems, and remote management technologies. Youll be expected to proactively support platform improvements, perform deep troubleshooting of escalated issues, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Engineer solutions for server and endpoint platforms, including firmware lifecycle, remote management, and OS configuration.
- Develop automation and tooling using PowerShell and version control systems like GitHub.
- Contribute to integration and policy enforcement using Microsoft Active Directory.
- Perform deep troubleshooting of escalated issues across hardware, firmware, and operating systems.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure platform reliability and compliance.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to design decisions.
- Support onboarding and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Ensure work aligns with enterprise standards, security policies, and operational excellence.
Primary expertise required:
- Microsoft Active Directory.
- PowerShell scripting.
- Server firmware engineering, remote management, and diagnostics.
- Endpoint firmware engineering, remote management, and diagnostics.
- Microsoft operating systems (Windows Server and Windows client platforms).
- Version control systems (e.g., GitHub).
Additional expertise helpful:
- Packer for image creation and automation.
- Ansible for configuration management.
