Role Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Day-to-Day Accounting Operations

  • Manage end-to-end accounting including entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions
  • Maintain books of accounts as per statutory requirements

2. MIS & Financial Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
  • Generate key financial insights for management decision-making
  • Track revenue, expenses, profitability, and cost centers

3. Outstanding & Receivables Management

  • Monitor client outstanding regularly
  • Maintain ageing-wise outstanding reports
  • Drive timely collections through continuous follow-ups
  • Highlight high-risk or overdue accounts to management

4. Billing & Invoicing

  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing
  • Coordinate with operations and sales for billing accuracy
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trail

5. Process Improvement & Financial Discipline

  • Streamline accounting and finance processes
  • Implement systems for better tracking and control
  • Reduce leakages and improve financial efficiency

6. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
  • Coordinate with auditors, CA, and consultants
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits

7. Cash Flow & Financial Planning

  • Monitor cash flow and working capital
  • Support budgeting and financial planning
  • Ensure optimal utilization of funds

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / Accounting / Finance
  • 4–8 years of experience in accounting & finance
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
  • Hands-on experience in MIS reporting and financial analysis
  • Proven experience in outstanding management & collections follow-up
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • High ownership mindset and accountability
