Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Desktop Support Specialist, based in Kochi. The Desktop Support Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting desktop computers, assisting with technical and printer-related issues, and providing reliable desk-side and remote support. The role involves ensuring efficient resolution of technical problems and offering assistance that ensures seamless operations for end-users within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
● Network Administration: Manage and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, including Internet, telephony, firewall configurations, and printers.
● System Administration: Oversee system operations, deployments, and updates to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
● User Support: Provide technical assistance for users, including application support and addressing general technical queries.
● Security: Prioritize security in all operations, ensuring data protection and safeguarding IT assets from vulnerabilities and threats.
Qualifications
● Educational Background: A degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
● Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an IT Operation Specialist.
● Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and other associated tools.
● Network Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking protocols, configuration of firewalls, and administration of telephony and printer systems.
● Problem-solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
● Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
