Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Retail RMS Consultant/Developer with 10+ years of expertise in Oracle Retail applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) solutions, ensuring seamless retail operations across merchandising, pricing, and inventory functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and support of RMS applications
• Develop and maintain programs using **PL/SQL, **Pro*C, and **Oracle Forms
• Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze and implement retail solutions
• Handle end-to-end delivery including requirement analysis, development, testing, and deployment
• Support core retail processes such as item management, pricing, inventory, procurement, and costing
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and batch job monitoring in production environments
• Lead production support activities and ensure SLA adherence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integrations and enhancements
• Prepare technical design documents and support UAT and release management

Required Skills

• 10+ years of strong experience in Oracle Retail RMS (Mandatory)
• Expertise in PL/SQL, Pro*C, and Oracle Forms
• Deep understanding of retail merchandising processes (pricing, inventory, purchasing, costing)
• Hands-on experience in production support and enhancement projects
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience in stakeholder management and client interaction

Good to Have

• Experience with UNIX and batch processing
• Exposure to other Oracle Retail modules (e.g., RESA, RPM)
• Experience in large-scale retail implementations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Strong communication and leadership skills
