• High autonomy, broad-scope rural medicine – solo RG role covering GP, ED and inpatients with strong nursing support• Lifestyle roster with strong earning potential – ongoing 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off at a set $2,700/day SMO rate• True continuity of care – manage patients across clinic, hospital and ED in a welcoming Central QLD community
The Opportunity:
An excellent ongoing solo doctor role in Moura, Central Queensland, offering strong clinical variety, autonomy, and a sustainable FIFO-style roster.
You will cover the GP practice, hospital ED, and inpatients, supported by an experienced nursing team, with all billings retained by the Health Service.
Role Overview:
• Solo doctor role covering: – GP practice – Hospital Emergency Department – Inpatients• Daily hospital ward round each morning• GP private practice 5–6 days per week• 24/7 on-call for ED presentations• Supported by skilled nursing and on-site hospital staff
Roster & Contract:
• 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off• ASAP start• Ongoing work available• Set SMO rate: $2,700 per day• All Medicare billings retained by the Health Service• Travel and accommodation provided

The Ideal Candidate
• FACRRM / FRACGP (or equivalent)• Comfortable working as a solo doctor with nursing support• Confident across GP, ED, and inpatient care• Seeking ongoing rural work with a consistent roster
