Job Description

• 6+ years of professional experience in SAP HANA database administration and architecture.
• Strong experience in SAP HANA 2.0 installation, configuration, and administration.
• Hands-on expertise in HANA system architecture, table partitioning, and HADR (High Availability & Disaster Recovery).
• Experience in HANA installation, parameter changes, restarts, upgrades, and user management.
• Strong knowledge in backup, restore, and recovery (including point-in-time recovery using Backint).
• Experience in monitoring HANA systems using HANA Studio/Cockpit and resolving alerts.
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting CPU/memory issues, and trace analysis.
• Experience in handling critical P1/P2 incidents and customer-facing scenarios.
• Knowledge of Linux operating system is required.
• Experience in HANA 1.0 to 2.0 upgrades and MDC (Multi-tenant Database Container) setup.
• Ability to perform system health checks, audit log management, and license management.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Role-Based Expectations:

Senior Consultant (6–10 Years):

• Strong hands-on experience in HANA administration and issue resolution.
• Ability to independently handle critical incidents.

Lead Consultant (8–12 Years):

• Team handling experience is mandatory.
• Ability to manage delivery and mentor team members.

Solution Architect / Platinum Consultant (10–15 Years):

• Strong experience in HANA architecture and customer engagement.
• Experience handling large teams and end-to-end delivery.

Additional Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with Oracle / DB2 / MaxDB / ASE
• Python / Shell scripting knowledge
• HANA Certifications
• ECS background
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Requirements

• Stability in career is mandatory
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and provide weekend/on-call support
• Open to business travel (project-specific)
• No SAP Basis + HANA combined profiles
