GIS Team Lead / Project Lead:

Job Description:

•Maintains a high-level knowledge of business processes, challenges, in the Utility industry (Electric/Gas/Water).

•Knowledge with Esri software including ArcGIS Enterprise like Server, Portal, ArcGIS Data Store etc.

•Ability to understand the issue from given description and troubleshoot effectively.

•Understand the client requirements, define the project scope & prepare the effort estimation.

•Manages project / POC execution through all stages of the Project Process

•Reports to leadership on the status and health of the project, its risks, opportunities.

•Maintains project schedule, tasks, task assignments, issues and risks

•Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.

•Initiate, review, or approve modifications to project plans.

•Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel.

•Develop or update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications and schedules.

•Monitor the performance of project team members, providing and documenting performance feedback. •Willing to travel with short notice and able to re-locate as per the need of the organization

Must Have:

•Good knowledge of GIS & Remote Sensing

•Knowledge of data creation, spatial analysis, Image Analysis, data management, create vector tile package, publishing various layers available in different formats in AGOL/ArcGIS server, schema design, data interpretation etc.

•Knowledge and experience of ESRI products like ArcGIS desktop, ArcGIS Pro etc

•Demonstrated knowledge with utilities

•Hands-on experience implementing or using ArcFM, ESRI GIS, Utility Network or related technologies.

•Hands-on experience of configuring workbenches (ETLs) from various formats into ArcGIS platform.

•Expertise in the use of MS Project, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and other software tools used for project management

•Manage one’s own time and the time of others.

•Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Nice to Have: Esri Utility Network Specialty Certification.
