We’re hiring an experienced Automotive Functional Safety Engineer with strong expertise in ISO 26262 and safety-critical embedded systems.

The role focuses on driving functional safety activities across the development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with automotive safety standards and delivering robust, safety-compliant software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead functional safety activities aligned with ISO 26262 across the software lifecycle
• Define safety concepts, safety goals, and safety requirements
• Perform safety analysis including FMEA, DFA, FTA, and FFI
• Execute ASIL decomposition and allocate safety requirements
• Design and review safety-oriented software architecture for automotive ECUs
• Ensure traceability across requirements, design, implementation, and validation
• Review MCU safety manuals from vendors like Infineon, NXP, and Renesas

Essential Experience & Expertise:

• 7–12 years of experience in embedded software development
• Minimum 5 years in Functional Safety projects
• Strong experience in ISO 26262 compliant development
• Proficiency in Embedded C / C++
• Hands-on experience in safety analysis techniques (FMEA, DFA, FTA, FFI)
• Experience in ASIL decomposition and safety requirement allocation
• Strong understanding of safety-oriented architecture

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Requirements Management tools (DOORS)
• Working knowledge of AUTOSAR-based systems
• Familiarity with MISRA C/C++ guidelines
• Experience with static code analysis tools
