Role Overview:

We are looking for a Power Electronics Control Engineer to design and implement the digital control systems for high-efficiency Hybrid Inverters. This role bridges advanced control theory with real-time embedded firmware execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design control loops for DC-DC (MPPT) and DC-AC grid-tie/off-grid inverters using MATLAB/Simulink
• Implement optimized Embedded C/C++ firmware on TI C2000 MCUs
• Develop grid synchronization (PLL), anti-islanding, and protection logic
• Ensure compliance with UL 1741 and IEEE 1547
• Perform Model-Based Design (MBD) and HIL validation
• Support hardware bring-up and high-voltage lab testing

Required Skills:

• Strong digital control theory (PID, PR, Lead-Lag, Bode/Nyquist)
• Expert Embedded C/C++ (bare-metal, real-time systems)
• Experience in FOC, SVPWM, PLL algorithms
• Hands-on with PWM, ADC, and real-time MCU peripherals
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and PLECS
