To build and support company’s strategic engagement with Government bodies, embassies, overseas delegations, industry associations, and development institutions to influence policy, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and generate business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Government & Regulatory Affairs (Domestic)
- Support in monitoring policy, regulatory and legislative developments impacting the automotive and mobility sector.
- Assist in preparing position papers, policy representations, and responses to government consultations.
- Build working relationships with government departments, PSUs, state authorities, and statutory bodies.
- Ensure timely communication of policy changes and regulatory alerts to internal business units.
International Operations & External Engagement
• Coordinate with embassies, consulates, trade commissioners, and diplomatic missions to promote company products and projects.
• Engage with overseas government officials, bureaucrats, and key influencers to understand market readiness, regulatory frameworks, and business opportunities.
• Participate in global conferences, trade shows, and B2B meetings to support distributor identification and lead generation.
• Assist in EXIM Bank tender-related discussions and ensure timely internal coordination for document submission.
• Track, analyze, and share international policy developments, competitive insights, and mobility trends with internal teams.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain relationships with multilateral development banks (World Bank, ADB, AfDB, AIIB, etc.), industry chambers (CII, FICCI, SIAM, ACMA, etc.), and trade bodies.
- Represent the company in relevant forums, working groups, and committee meetings.
- Document and track engagements with stakeholders, ensuring follow-up and closure of action points
Defence Affairs
• Engage proactively with Defence Attachés of various countries to promote the company’s defence portfolio, build strategic relationships, and generate business leads.
• Liaise with the Ministry of Defence, procurement wings, Defence PSUs, and relevant departments to identify opportunities and track tenders.
• Represent the company at key defence exhibitions, meetings, and industry events, ensuring strong visibility and lead generation.
• Coordinate with internal technical, product, and business teams to support tender submissions, documentation, and follow-up actions.
• Maintain a Defence Opportunity Tracker to document leads, interactions, progress status, and conversion outcomes.
Business Support & Lead Management
- Support the business team by sharing timely intelligence on tenders, government initiatives, policy incentives, and funding programs (domestic & international).
- Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Homologation, Product, Finance, Legal) to support business pitches and government interactions.
- Maintain a lead tracker and ensure closure-oriented follow‑ups.
Documentation & Communication
- Prepare briefs, presentations, reports, and communication notes for leadership.
- Maintain minutes of meetings, dashboards, and status trackers of all Corporate Affairs initiatives.
- Support internal knowledge-sharing on regulatory updates and global mobility developments
Educational Qualification & Skills
• Degree: BE /MBA
• Minimum Years of experience: 18-22 Years only
• Working experience in Government Affairs, Public Policy, Corporate Affairs, International Business, or similar roles.
• Exposure to automotive, manufacturing, or mobility sectors (preferred).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to speak confidently at external forums, panels, and webinars
• Experience in liaising with government bodies, embassies, or trade associations is an advantage.
