Director – Storage and Backup Administration

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Storage & Backup Administrator to manage enterprise storage infrastructure and backup environments across a diverse technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer PowerStore, Unity, HP 3PAR, Alletra, and MSA storage devices
• Manage Brocade and Cisco SAN switches, including zoning configuration
• Handle storage allocations, de-allocations, share creation, and hardware replacements
• Monitor and optimize storage performance and efficiency
• Monitor and administer backup solutions: Commvault, Veeam, and Data Protector
• Perform version upgrades across backup tools
• Manage StoreOnce and Tape Library infrastructure
• Log and resolve incidents via ServiceNow (Incident, Change & Problem Management)

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with 3PAR, Alletra, Unity, and PowerStore
• Proficiency in SAN switch zoning (Brocade & Cisco)
• Strong expertise in Commvault and HP Data Protector
• Experience upgrading Commvault, Veeam, and Data Protector
• Familiarity with NAS storage basics
• Basic knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM
