Oracle EBS DBA (L4, Oracle EBS 12.2.x and Hyperion 11.x)) | Contract to Hire | Pune (Hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Database Administrator (L4) with 9+ years of hands-on expertise to join a high-performing team in Pune (1 day onsite/week). This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with overlapping US support hours.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in Oracle EBS 12.2.x and Hyperion 11.x environments
• Expertise in Oracle Database 12c/19c+, including performance tuning (AWR, ADDM, ASH)
• Hands-on with Online Patching (adop) lifecycle and EBS utilities (adadmin, adpatch, adctrl, adrelink, admerge)
• Experience in installation, configuration, patching, upgrades of multi-tier environments
• Proficiency in database cloning (Rapid Clone), refreshes, and multi-node setups
• Strong knowledge of Backup & Recovery (RMAN) and multitenant architecture (CDB/PDB)
• Experience with High Availability setups: Oracle RAC, Data Guard (Physical/Logical), PCP, Load Balancers
• Expertise in Concurrent Processing, Workflow & Workflow Mailer, Apache, Forms, Reports, JVM tuning, SSO (OAM)
• Experience with SOA Suite, OEM 13c, Fusion Middleware, Linux (RHEL/Oracle Linux)
• Exposure to cloud migrations (OCI/AWS/Azure) and EBS Lift & Shift strategies
• Strong background in automation & DevOps (Ansible, shell scripting)
• Knowledge of archiving/purging tools and system optimization

Responsibilities:

• Provide senior-level DBA support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Manage database migrations (including cross-platform) and ensure system uptime
• Lead operational/project initiatives and maintain SLAs
• Implement security best practices and support SOX compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior members

Additional Details:

• Shift: 2 PM – 11 PM IST (with on-call support)
• Location: Pune (local candidates preferred)
• Open to 24×7 support environment
