Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Database Programmer with 5 to 8 years of expertise to join our dynamic team in Thane. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in database development and be proficient in related technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions while ensuring high performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using MS SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Write and optimize Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Functions.
• Perform Performance Tuning to ensure efficient database operations.
• Implement and maintain data integrity and security measures.
• Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Manage and track tasks effectively using JIRA.
• Work closely with application developers to design efficient database structures.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide solutions.
• Optimize queries and indexing strategies for performance enhancement.
• Ensure database scalability and maintainability to support business growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in MS SQL and PostgreSQL development.
• Proficiency in writing Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Functions.
• Strong expertise in Performance Tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot database issues.
• Experience working with JIRA in an Agile environment.
• Excellent understanding of database normalization and indexing techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with database replication and clustering techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data migration strategies.
• Understanding of NoSQL databases and when to use them.
