Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Marine Technical Consultant in Bangalore, India. The Assistant Technical Superintendent will be responsible for assisting in ship management, conducting inspections, supporting marine engineering tasks, and providing comprehensive sailing expertise. Daily responsibilities will include monitoring vessel conditions, evaluating technical performance, managing dry-docking and repair projects, and ensuring compliance with maritime regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in Ship Management and Maritime operations
- Proficiency in conducting Inspections and assessing vessel conditions
- Background in Marine Engineering
- Comprehensive Sailing expertise
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, or related field,
- MEO Class 1 or Class 2 licenses
