Job Title: HVAC Design Engineer – (Building Design)

Location: New Delhi, Faridabad, Noida

Experience Required:

• 4-20 years of experience in HVAC building design.
• Proven experience in consultancy services.

Qualification: Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled HVAC Design Engineer – Building Design with strong experience in consultancy services. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end HVAC system design, calculations, coordination, and documentation for building projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

HVAC System Design & Engineering:

• Complete design of HVAC systems including:
• Chilled Water Systems
• VRF Systems
• Perform detailed heat load calculations as per ASHRAE, ISHRAE, and NBC standards.
• Conduct equipment sizing and selection for:
• AHUs
• Pumps
• Fans
• Chillers
• Cooling towers
• Design and calculation of:
• Ducting systems
• Piping systems
• Air distribution systems
• Design of:
• Smoke extraction systems
• Staircase and lobby pressurization systems
• Car parking ventilation systems
• Kitchen ventilation systems
• Perform heat load calculations using HAP software.

Estimation & Documentation:

• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates.
• Develop Design Basis Reports (DBR) and technical specifications.
• Prepare quotations and technical presentations.
• Ensure compliance with international and national codes and standards.

Coordination & Project Management:

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Electrical, PHE, Firefighting, ELV, Architecture, etc.).
• Read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines to achieve project milestones.

Technical Skills Required:

• Expertise in chiller design and chilled water system planning
• Strong knowledge of duct design and pipe sizing
• Equipment selection and system optimization
• Proficiency in HAP software
• Familiarity with ASHRAE, ISHRAE & NBC standards
• Experience in smoke management and ventilation systems
• BOQ preparation and cost estimation
