Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Android Developer with 6+ years of experience to build high-performance, scalable, and feature-rich mobile applications. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience developing OTT (Over-The Top) streaming applications and a strong command of Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.Work with APIs, RESTful services, and third-party integrations.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and frameworks.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in Android app development.
  • Experience in OTT platform is Mandatory.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Advanced) — including coroutines, flows, and functional programming concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern UI components.
  • Deep understanding of Android SDK, architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, etc.), and app lifecycle.
  • Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar design patterns.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and app deployment on the Play Store.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with Dependency Injection frameworks (e.g., Hilt, Dagger).
  • Exposure to unit testing and UI testing (JUnit, Espresso).
  • Understanding of performance optimization and app analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of Compose Navigation and Material Design 3 principles.
