The Role

We are building a new Corporate Learning & Development business division to deliver high-quality, video-based microlearning content to enterprises in North America and internationally. Our product addresses critical soft skills such as first-time manager training and communication.

This is an opportunity to build, lead and scale a new business unit in the successful EdTech company. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, hands-on sales leader who can win deals, create and implement an effective GTM strategy, and build and lead a high-performing team.

This role requires someone pro-active, entrepreneurial and self-starter, and has a strong track record of selling training solutions or L&D content to USA companies.

Responsibilities

  • Create and refine a Go-To-Market plan for North America and international markets.
  • Hire, train, and lead an effective sales team to meet revenue goals.
  • Create and refine the sales playbook, messaging and process.
  • Lead by example – prospect, close deals with L&D and HR buyers at mid-market US companies.
  • Build a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting, partnerships, events and marketing.
  • Establish trusted relationships with key decision-makers and position our solutions as strategic investments in workforce development.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting to leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, content, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure customer satisfaction and inform product development.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10+ years of B2B sales experience with a strong track record of selling to HR and L&D buyers.
  • 5+ years of experience in building and managing sales teams with a hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach.
  • Demonstrated success in selling training solutions, learning content, L&D platforms, or related HR/talent products.
  • Proven ability to hunt and close new business.
  • Strong understanding of corporate training needs, buyer personas, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable working remotely from India while engaging with US-based clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in an early-stage or startup environment where you build processes from scratch
  • Existing relationships with L&D/HR leaders in US mid-market companies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate autonomously and adapt quickly.
