Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with strong statistical and machine learning expertise to support business-critical forecasting and analytics initiatives. The role requires hands-on technical proficiency, independent problem-solving capability, and strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, validate, and deploy statistical and machine learning models
Design and implement P&L forecasting models and business prediction frameworks
Perform data analysis, feature engineering, and model optimization
Write efficient and scalable code using Python and SQL
Work with large datasets in cloud environments (GCP)
Communicate insights and model outcomes clearly to business stakeholders
Work independently with minimal supervision in a client-facing setup.

Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) use cases
Familiarity with Vertex AI

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4–8 years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning
- Strong foundation in statistics and ML modelling techniques
- Hands-on experience with Python and SQL
- Experience working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proven experience in P&L forecasting or financial modelling
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in Australia shift timings.
