Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Environmental Engineer based in Surat. The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing environmental projects such as Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), and other waste management systems. The role involves conducting environmental assessments, preparing technical reports like EIA and CRZ reports, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards. The Environmental Engineer will also provide technical support for innovative sustainability projects, including Carbon Credit initiatives, Circular Economy ventures, and Waste-to-Energy programs.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), and waste management systems
- Ability to conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), prepare Environment Clearance reports, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Analytical and research proficiency, including skills in data collection, reporting, and problem-solving
- Knowledge of Green Credits, Carbon Credits, and sustainability practices such as Circular Economy and Carbon Sequestration
- Strong communication skills, including report writing, team collaboration, and engaging with clients and stakeholders
- Proficiency in relevant software for project design and environmental analysis
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with Indian environmental regulations and sustainable development practices
