Job Description : –

§ Manage end to end training for the aligned Finance and Accounting (FnA) processes, including new hire training and BAU intervention

§ Specific Focus on London Market Insurance in the following areas –

o Insurance technical accounting (P&C and Speciality Risks)

o Re-insurance accounting (Inwards/ Outwards)

o Investment Accounting

o Tax

o Expense Management

o Treasury

§ Building training modules with accounting treatments/ double entries and maintain up to date training materials

§ Conduct training for Finance teams with accounting modules and build SMEs in each Finance sub functions

§ Work closely with Quality assurance team to understand root-cause analysis/ trends and identify knowledge gaps to enhance with training

§ Understand changes in the Insurance accounting world and help to build new knowledge base as per the requirements from client (Eg: IFRS 17, UK/ US GAAP)

§ Work closely with Finance training team and Operations team to arrange training sessions leveraging new technology and tools to conduct, record and report training progress and related Mis

§ Manage multiple stakeholders

§ Create and maintain detailed training MI and documentation

§ Design, Develop and Deliver training on FnA product and process training, in the area of Insurance and London market business

§ Adhere to signed off Training Standard Documents, Governance Plans and other prescribed regulations

Qualification :-

§ Qualified/Semi Accountant with extensive knowledge of Insurance, particularly London Market

§ Certification from CII/LOMA would be an additional advantage

§ Proficient in the Finance and Accounting domain, with exposure to the BPO/BPM industry

§ In-depth domain knowledge in London Market business

§ Experience in Academic Research and Content Development, Classroom Training and Workshops, Training Curriculum development

§ Analytical ability and capability to understand the business impact

§ Aware of various training methodologies and have knowledge on Instructional designing
