Role Overview
This position is responsible for being the primary point of contact for all business support related inquiries and strategic planning, execution, and successful completion of any systems integrations for the company’s ERP system for the India and Sri Lanka regions. The individual will oversee the performance and development of a team of systems analysts to ensure timely and effective business user support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial systems, excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to lead a team in a dynamic environment and work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP system-related inquiries and issues from business units.
• Facilitate regular meetings with key stakeholders to review system performance, discuss enhancements, and gather feedback.
• Build strong relationships with vendors, staying informed about system updates, roadmaps, and support resources.
Team Leadership:
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 6 systems analysts.
• Set individual and team goals, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
System Management:
• Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of ERP financial systems.
• Ensure systems are secure, compliant, and up-to-date with the latest features and capabilities.
Project Management
• Lead and manage end-to-end financial systems integration projects.
• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define integration requirements and objectives.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Technical Expertise:
• Provide technical guidance and expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in financial systems. Compliance and Security:
• Ensure that all integrations comply with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive financial data during and after integration.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of integration processes and systems.
Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements. • Develop and implement best practices for financial system management and use. Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Skills:

• Experience with API management and web services (REST, SOAP).
• Understanding of database management and data warehousing
Collaboration
• Work closely with finance, accounting, IT, and other departments to understand business needs and ensure systems support organizational goals. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on system status, project progress, and any issues or risks.
• Facilitate cross-functional team meetings and ensure effective collaboration among team members.
Education
Graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
Experience:
• Minimum of 15-22 years of experience in financial systems management or a related field.
• Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar platforms.
• Proven experience leading and managing technical teams.
Certifications
Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or financial system-specific certifications are advantageous.
