Job Description:Apply only if you have a degree in Mechanical Engineering Apply only if you come with strong experience in MRO and CAPEX procurement Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of quality materials. Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve cost savings and value addition. Monitor market trends to identify potential sourcing opportunities. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to forecast material requirements. Maintain accurate procurement records and performance metrics. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process. At least 10-12 years’ experience in procurement of MRO Spares, Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Capex Items, Services- preferably from Chemical Industry. Demonstrated expertise in vendor development and negotiations Knowledge about entire Procure to Pay cycle Knowledge about commercial terms in purchasing, Indirect taxation- GST, Customs duties, import clearance process. Exposure to handling and storage of chemicals including hazardous materials Experience in contracts negotiations and finalizations, alternate vendors development for annual contracts for services. Awareness about Health, Environment and Safety for procurement related activities Demonstrated strong Planning and organizing skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated abilities to work and manage interfaces with other cross functional dept Demonstrated leadership skills to lead a team of people
