Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead end-to-end HR delivery for our India Global Capability Center. This role partners with regional and global stakeholders to strengthen HR operations, drive talent programs, and fostering a compliant and engaging workplace aligned with global standards.
As a key HR partner to business leaders, the HR Manager will support the growth and scalability of the GCC by overseeing the full employee lifecycle, managing employee relations, and ensuring adherence to Indian labor laws and company governance frameworks. The role combines hands-on execution with people leadership and cross-functional collaboration, supporting a diverse workforce across technology, engineering, shared services, and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership & Organization Effectiveness
- Serve as a strategic business partner to GCC site leadership; translate business priorities into a people strategy that accelerates scale-up and sustained performance.
- Lead organization design, workforce planning, and capability building; ensure structures, roles, and skills align to global operating models and local market realities.
- Establish and track HR KPIs (talent acquisition, performance, learning, succession, engagement, rewards, retention) and drive action with leadership.
Talent Acquisition, Onboarding & Employer Brand
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to deliver high-quality hiring at pace: role intake, competency-based selection, diverse slates, competitive offers, and notice-period navigation.
- Architect a consistent onboarding and integration experience that immerses new hires in the clients mission, values, and global ways of working.
- Support employer branding initiatives, university outreach, and talent pipelines relevant to GCC capabilities.
Performance, Talent & Learning
- Enable the performance management cycle (goal setting, coaching, feedback, calibration, and improvement plans), uplift manager capability with practical toolkits and workshops.
- Run talent reviews and succession planning, deploy development programs (virtual and in-person) for critical roles and future leaders.
Employee Relations, Engagement & Culture
- Proactively manage employee relationscoach leaders, resolve issues quickly and objectively, conduct thorough investigations, and maintain confidentiality.
- Design engagement programs and recognition mechanisms; measure sentiment, act on feedback, and replicate the clients culture within the GCC while fostering local inclusion.
- Champion employee wellbeing, psychological safety, and respectful workplaces.
HR Operations, Policy Localization & Compliance (India)
- Standardize and improve HR processes; localize global programs to India while ensuring compliance with Indian labour and employment laws
- Partner with shared services/implementation partners to ensure accurate payroll, benefits, background verification, and robust HR data governance; steward HRIS adoption (e.g., Workday or client-preferred systems).
Analytics, Governance & Risk
- Use HR analytics and dashboards to surface insights (attrition, hiring funnel, engagement, performance); drive data-informed decisions and regular KPI reviews with site/global leadership.
- Support HR audits, vendor governance, and risk mitigation; maintain impeccable records and data privacy practices.
Projects & Change Enablement
- Lead or support cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
- Act as a change agent for new systems, processes, and organizational shifts, ensuring clear communications and effective adoption.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education
- A bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Masters Degree / Post Graduate Diploma in HR preferred
Experience
- 12-16 years of HR experience in India, including HR Business Partnering and CoE experience within a large, globally integrated organization
- Demonstrated experience implementing HR policies, processes, engagement, and retention initiatives
- Experience developing HR analytics and reports to support data-driven decision-making
- Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
