LOCATION: Pune

Experience Required: 15+ Years at Senior Leadership Level

Organisational Scale: INR 800 Cr+ Group  |  28,000+ Workforce  |  PAN India Presence

ABOUT OUR CLIENT:

Our client is a diversified, fast-growing enterprise operating across manpower, specialized services, staffing, and emerging verticals such as skilling and global workforce solutions. The Group is entering a strategic transformation phase focused on scale, profitability, governance, and diversification, with institutional engagement and strong leadership vision.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This is a rare and significant leadership mandate. The CEO will be the apex business leader of the Group, partnering directly with the Founder/Promoter to define and execute a bold strategic agenda. The role demands a leader who can seamlessly blend visionary thinking with rigorous operational delivery — someone who brings a fresh perspective, transformational energy, and strong governance sensibility, with a strong grounding in Sales, Operations, and Business Management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Leadership, Business Growth & Client Management

• Define and drive the Group’s long-term strategic vision in alignment with the Founder/Promoter’s and investor’s objectives.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, market expansion, and revenue diversification across verticals.

• Formulate annual business plans, growth targets, and KPI frameworks across business units.

• Lead market intelligence, competitive benchmarking, and positioning strategy for the Group.

• Drive M&A strategy — identify, evaluate, and execute acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic alliances to accelerate Group expansion.

• Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients, partners, vendors, and institutional stakeholders.

• Represent the Group at industry forums, events, and high-level client engagements.

• Maintain and enhance the Group’s brand reputation in the market.

2. Profit & Loss Ownership

• Own full P&L responsibility across all Group entities and business lines.

• Drive sustainable EBITDA improvement through revenue growth, cost optimisation, and margin management.

• Ensure financial prudence with robust budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation decisions.

• Work closely with the CFO and finance leadership to ensure financial health and sustained profitability.

• Respond to queries from the Board and investors regarding business outlook, financial performance, and strategic plans.

3. Operational Excellence

• Establish and institutionalise world-class operational standards, processes, and SOPs across the organisation.

• Drive efficiency, productivity, and quality benchmarks through structured performance management.

• Build scalable systems and processes that support rapid business expansion and geographic growth.

• Champion a culture of accountability, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement.

4. Team Leadership & People Development

• Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse leadership team across Pan-India locations.

• Build a high-performance culture that attracts, retains, and grows top talent.

• Mentor and develop the senior leadership pipeline, ensuring succession planning and organisational depth.

• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and purpose-driven work environment.

5. Digital Transformation

• Champion the Group’s digital transformation agenda — from ERP upgrades to AI-driven operational tools.

• Integrate technology-driven insights into decision-making at all levels of the organisation.

• Drive adoption of analytics, automation, and digital platforms to enhance business performance.

• Evaluate and implement technology investments that deliver measurable ROI.

6. Good Governance & Compliance

• Embed a culture of ethics, transparency, and regulatory compliance across the Group.

• Ensure adherence to all statutory, legal, and corporate governance requirements.

• Implement robust risk management frameworks and internal controls.

• Uphold the highest standards of corporate conduct in all internal and external dealings.
