About the Role
We’re looking for a Sports Community Manager who is obsessed with sports and understands fan engagement across platforms. You will manage and grow our communities across different Social media platforms, driving conversations, engagement, and brand affinity among U.S. sports fans.
If you understand sports discourse, trends, memes, and fan psychology — and can turn breaking news into engaging conversations — this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and publish engaging posts, creatives, and reels tailored for different social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter (X), Reddit)
- Design social media creatives using Canva (or similar tools)
- Manage and grow social media communities across platforms
- Drive real-time engagement around trending sports moments, news, and events
- Stay updated with U.S. sports (NBA, NFL, NASCAR, UFC, Tennis, etc.)
- Own and manage assigned social media pages/channels
- Maintain brand voice, consistency, and aesthetic across platforms
- Track and analyze metrics (engagement, reach, clicks, growth)
- Optimize content based on performance insights
Requirements
- 0–3 years of experience in social media / digital content (internships included)
- Strong understanding of U.S. sports and fan culture
- Hands-on experience with Canva (mandatory); Photoshop/Figma is a plus
- Basic knowledge of short-form video, and editing tools
- Understanding of social media algorithms and trends
- Strong content instincts—what works, what clicks, what engages
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and highly proactive
