Role: Quality Control Lead – Retail Projects

Role Overview

We are looking for someone who has a sharp eye for quality and execution — someone who can walk into a site, instantly identify gaps, and ensure everything is built exactly as intended.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure Design-to-Execution Accuracy
- Ensure every store is executed exactly as per approved designs
- Act as the final quality checkpoint on-site
- Conduct site inspections at critical stages of execution
2. Proactive Issue Identification & Resolution
- Identify and close all snags before store launch
- Ensure issues are fixed correctly the first time
- Drive readiness to avoid last-minute delays or chaos
3. Vendor & Contractor Management
- Work closely with contractors and vendors on-site
- Identify and call out poor workmanship
- Build and enforce a culture of high-quality standards
4. Material & Finish Quality Control
- Ensure materials used match approved specifications
- Maintain consistency in finishes, alignment, and detailing
- Ensure uniform quality across all stores
5. Reporting & Communication
- Maintain QC reports, snag trackers, and site updates
- Share real-time updates with internal stakeholders
- Flag risks and issues proactively
6. Process Improvement & Standardization
- Identify recurring issues and solve root causes
- Build and improve QC checklists and processes
- Continuously improve execution quality across stores
Requirements
Skills & Expertise
- Strong understanding of retail fit-outs
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- High attention to detail
- Strong ownership and follow-through
Tools
- AutoCAD (or strong drawing interpretation skills)
- Excel / Google Sheets
Experience
- 4–8 years in retail/interior fit-outs
- Experience in multi-store rollouts preferred
