The Company: Our client is a growing aerospace manufacturer in Bangalore focused on precision, quality, and innovation in aerospace component production.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Assembly Manager in supervising assembly operators, task allocation, and schedule adherence.
- Support optimization of assembly processes ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and specifications.
- Help troubleshoot assembly issues related to machining tolerances and parts integration (5-axis, CNC, VMC).
- Participate in quality control checks and implement corrective actions.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Support training and development of assembly personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and HSE practices.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, production planning, and supply chain.
- Maintain assembly documentation, production reports, and quality metrics.
Requirements:
- ~7 years experience in aerospace assembly, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Practical knowledge of 5-axis machining, CNC, and VMC.
- Strong team management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and apply technical drawings and documentation.
- Degree in Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent experience preferred.
