Tech Lead – LYKSTAGE

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead to drive the architecture, design, and execution of key projects within the LYKSTAGE platform. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership, hands-on development, and collaboration with business stakeholders.

The Tech Lead will be responsible for guiding the engineering team in delivering scalable, high-performance systems while ensuring robust design practices through detailed High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical ownership of major platform initiatives in LYKSTAGE.
• Work closely with engineering teams to create clear and detailed HLD and LLD documents.
• Drive architectural decisions for building scalable and distributed backend systems.
• Perform hands-on development and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical execution plans.
• Mentor engineers, guide best practices, and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Help plan project milestones, execution strategy, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure systems are designed for high availability, performance, and scalability.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Golang with proven backend development experience.
• Solid understanding of Distributed Systems concepts including:
• Microservices architecture
• Event-driven systems
• Fault tolerance
• Scalability patterns
• Experience building and operating systems at large scale.
• Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms with excellent problem-solving ability.
• Experience working with Vector Databases and retrieval-based systems (e.g., recommendation/search use cases).
• Familiarity with modern backend infrastructure, including:
• Cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Caching systems (Redis, Memcached)
• Messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with recommendation engines, search ranking, or AI-driven personalization systems.
• Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong communication skills to bridge technical and business discussions effectively.

• Experience Requirements5+ years of backend engineering experience with at least 1–2 years in a technical leadership role.
• Proven track record of delivering complex systems in production environments.
• Experience leading projects involving distributed services and scalable architectures.
