Process Engineer – Corporate ME & Projects

Location: Kagal Plant KOEL, Kolhapur, Maharashtra

Experience: 3–8 Years

Responsible for planning, execution, and commissioning of manufacturing and assembly projects, supporting corporate manufacturing engineering and new installation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate turnkey projects for assembly conveyors, sub-assembly stations, assembly tools, tightening equipment, FIFO racks, and leak testing machines.
• Develop and commission engine leak test machines, cylinder head sub-assembly machines, and poka-yoke systems.
• Handle new installation projects including scheduling, budgeting, and capitalization.
• Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support Integrated Product & Process Development (IPPD) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• RFQ preparation, machine selection, DAP, installation, and commissioning.
• Create SOPs, PFMEA, and project planners.
• Exposure to engine dynamometers or assembly line setup.

Qualifications & Skills

• BE/BTech in Manufacturing / Production / Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–8 years’ experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or Projects.
• Strong system integration knowledge and hands-on project execution skills.
