About the Role

Leads the shortage reporting process to ensure shortage and other inventory transaction reports are accurate, useful, and actionable for the business. Calculates shortage accrual rates for all brands, markets, and channels twice per year after each count occurs. Supports ad-hoc reporting requests from business partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Reporting Efforts
  • Ensure monthly reporting deadlines are met
  • Resolve exception and analysis issues
  • Design creative ways to obtain, report and correlate data for decision-making
  • Analyze data to evaluate potential inventory process problems across the company
  • Provide strategic analysis to ensure trends are identified and reported to the business to drive their business.
  • Summarize results of analysis, draw links with business processes, present results in a logical manner
  • Partner with divisional Business Partners to address and formulate strategies related to inventory issues and drive process improvements relative to inventory data integrity; provide lessons learned and best practices across divisions.
  • Partner with upper management to identify trends and engage in knowledge sharing.

Who You Are

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in statistical analysis and regression analysis
  • PC proficiency; expert at Excel, PowerPoint, Access etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of operational and financial systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or business related area, or previous comparable experience
  • Previous experience in Finance; retail is a plus
  • 4+ years applicable business experience
  • The candidate is expected to currently reside in Hyderabad, India.
  • Ability to adapt when necessary to work extended hours (including weekends)based on business needs
