As a Product Specialist, you will develop deep product knowledge, act as a subject-matter expert, and help internal and external stakeholders make the most of the product. Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of the product’s features, use cases, workflows, and competitive positioning
- Act as a product expert to support Sales, Pre-sales, and Customer Success teams during demos, onboarding, and client discussions
- Assist in gathering customer feedback, feature requests, and pain points, and communicate insights to the Product team
- Collaborate with Product Managers to support product launches, feature rollouts, and go-to-market initiatives
- Create and maintain product documentation, FAQs, training materials, presentations, and demo scripts
- Conduct product walkthroughs, internal training sessions, and enablement programs for cross-functional teams
- Analyze product usage data and customer behavior to identify adoption gaps and improvement opportunities
- Support issue triaging by coordinating with Engineering, QA, and Support teams when product-related concerns arise
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer expectations to help refine product positioning
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of product concepts, user experience, and customer-centric thinking
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, feedback, and usage metrics
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving approach
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (preferred)
Qualifications & Experience
- 1–6 years of experience as a Product Specialist, Business Analyst, Pre-sales, Product Operations, or a related role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field
- Experience working with SaaS, digital products, or technology platforms is a plus
- Exposure to tools such as CRM systems, product analytics platforms, or documentation tools is desirable
