Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Recruiter (this is not a general HR role). Your main responsibility will be handling recruitment activities – calling candidates, conducting telephonic screenings, coordinating interviews, and maintaining accurate tracking records.
If you enjoy speaking to people, have strong communication skills, and are consistent with follow-ups and coordination, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Review applications and shortlist candidates based on basic role requirements.
- Make outbound calls and conduct structured telephonic screenings.
- Explain the job role and check candidate interest.
- Verify details such as education, experience, notice period, location, and salary expectations.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain and update candidate tracker sheets (status, notes, follow-ups, next steps).
- Follow up to ensure candidates attend interviews and reduce drop-offs.
- Share screening notes and provide simple daily/weekly hiring updates.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Excellent verbal communication skills (English required; local language is a plus).
- Comfortable with calling and regular follow-ups.
- Basic computer knowledge (Email, Excel/Google Sheets, online forms).
- Good discipline, punctuality, and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Preferred Experience
- Internship or experience in recruitment, tele-calling, customer service, sales, or coordination roles.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and job portals.
- Ability to work in a performance-driven environment.
