Job Description:

Main responsibilities:

  • Establishing the finance department involves designing and implementing robust financial systems, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management and compliance within the organization. 

  • Regularly review financial transactions and reports to ensure accuracy, compliance with Group financial policies, and alignment with internal controls and regulatory standards. 

  • Supervising and supporting the daily operations of the finance functions to ensure streamlined and proficient practices. 

  • To oversee the debtors collections, credit risk evaluations, and management of accounts receivable, ensuring timely follow-ups, accurate assessments of outstanding debts, and minimizing financial risk. 

  • To oversee accounts payable, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and proper record-keeping and compliance with company policies. 

  • To prepare and maintain a full set of accounts, including financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and timely submission. 

  • To manage tax computation and ensure accurate VAT return submissions, WHT filings, and other tax submissions, complying with all relevant regulations and deadlines, while maintaining proper documentation 

  • To ensure compliance with statutory audit requirements and corporate regulations, overseeing the preparation of financial statements, liaising with auditors, and ensuring timely and accurate regulatory filings 

  • Continuously ensuring internal control policies are followed and proactively working to improve their effectiveness. 

  • Supervise and organize the month-end closing process, along with the preparation of management reports. 

  • Assisting in the development and execution of financial forecasts and annual budgets. 

  • Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure the organization has enough funds for daily operations and future growth. 

  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, legal requirements, and tax obligations. 

  • Collaborate with lawyers and bankers regarding financial matters. 

  • Implement and maintain up-to-date financial tools and systems to ensure efficient data flow and reporting, while supporting future growth. 

  • Provide training, coaching, and support finance team members, fostering development, excellence, and continuous improvement. 

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to management, enabling data-driven decision-making and ensuring financial objectives are met. 

  • Oversee cost control initiatives and identify opportunities to optimize financial processes and reduce expenditures. 

  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. 

  • Undertake any additional responsibilities or ad-hoc assignments as required by the management

  • Qualification: CA

    Experience: 4 – 5 years

    Main Skill: Accounting, Monthly/ Yearly MIS, Statutory Compliance in relation to Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, FEMA. Knowledge of IFRS and Knowledge of SAP latest version.
